Who We Are & What We Do

WHO WE ARE

The Baldwin-Whitehall Friends of the Theater Arts is a non-profit organization that is focused on providing an exceptional theater arts environment for its community and most importantly the students of the Baldwin-Whitehall School District.
WHAT WE DO

The Baldwin-Whitehall Friends of the Theater Arts and those who have contributed to BWFTA have helped the theater programs in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District by raising funds for:

  • 10 wireless microphones and receivers
  • A projection cyclorama screen
  • 4 face microphones
  • Fog machine & hazer
  • Wireless microphones for J.E. Harrison Middle School's musical program
  • $87,500 donated to the school district for the auditorium renovation project
  • Two $1,000 scholarships awarded to graduating seniors annually

Over a number of years, these donations will have saved the theater programs thousands of dollars in rental fees.
