BWFTA 2018 Scholarship recipients with Anita Reck, BWFTA Board Treasurer
In May 2018, BWFTA presented 2 Baldwin High School seniors with a $1,000 scholarship each at the Baldwin High School Senior Awards Night. Both seniors were involved with BHS theater in various ways in their years at Baldwin High School and maintained a 3.0 grade point average. As part of the application process, students are asked to write an essay on how the arts have affected their education at Baldwin. One student wrote: “Being in marching band, learning new instruments, and being in choir and musical have made me more confident and outgoing.” Congratulations to both of this year’s scholarship winners!
