Join Baldwin-Whitehall Friends of the Theater Arts at the Pittsburgh Public Theater’s production of Little Shop of Horrors on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
At Mushnik’s Florists, clerk Seymour is growing an odd horticultural find. Turns out that water is not enough; it takes warm bodies to keep the bloodthirsty flower fed. This hilariously harrowing musical became a monster hit for Menken & Ashman before they wrote The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast for Disney. A tender love story, along with rock, R&B, and 60s girl group music, complete this carnivorous carnival of fun.
Tickets (in Zone 1 of the O’Reilly Theater) are $80.00 each and include a pre-show dessert buffet which begins at 6:45 p.m. with the performance at 8:00 p.m. All tickets must be ordered and prepaid by January 17, 2020.
Proceeds benefit BWFTA’s Baldwin High School Senior Scholarships.
